1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for and using Pula Perks, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. "Platform" refers to the Pula Perks website, mobile experience, and all related services.
2. Account Registration
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Each customer is assigned a unique 8-digit Pula ID and QR code — this is personal and must not be shared or transferred. Pula Perks reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
3. Points & Rewards
Pula Points are earned at a rate of BWP × 0.1 on qualifying transactions at participating partners. Partner Points are determined by each partner's reward structure. Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. Pula Perks reserves the right to modify point earning rates, reward availability, and redemption thresholds with reasonable notice. Fraudulent activity, including but not limited to duplicate scanning, false transactions, or account manipulation, will result in immediate account termination and point forfeiture.
4. Redemptions
Rewards are subject to availability and partner participation. Redeemed rewards cannot be reversed, returned, or exchanged for cash. Certain high-value redemptions may require manager authorization at the point of sale. Exclusive Pula Perks rewards are subject to approval by participating partners and may have limited quantities.
5. Privacy & Data
We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Botswana Data Protection Act, 2018. You may choose to display a pseudonym on leaderboards to protect your identity. By registering, you consent to the collection and processing of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Single-Session Policy
For security purposes, Pula Perks enforces a single-device login policy. Logging in on a new device will automatically sign you out of any previously active session. This ensures the security of your account and points balance.
7. Partner Responsibilities
Participating partners are responsible for the quality and availability of their rewards. Pula Perks acts as a platform connecting customers and partners, and is not liable for disputes arising from partner-specific services or products. Partners may set their own terms for specific rewards and promotions.
8. Account Deletion
You may request to delete your account at any time through the dashboard settings. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible — all data, including points, transaction history, and personal information, will be destroyed. Pula Perks is not responsible for any loss of points or unredeemed rewards following account deletion.
9. Modifications
Pula Perks reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Botswana. Any disputes shall be resolved through the courts of Botswana.
